Same configuration of textsThese manuscripts have the same configuration of texts. 'Roman d'Alexandre' Branch I-III, 'Prise de Defur', 'Voyage', Branch IV, 'Voeux'. Either these Parisian manuscripts (one c. 1320, the other some decades later) ultimately derive from the same exemplar, or BnF fr. 791 was copied from BnF fr. 24365. It is worth while to compare the peculiarities of the BnF fr. 791 copy to the text in this manuscript. |
