Scribe description:
NotesSeveral corrections and interventions in the text, in the margins and in the interline, to expunge and cross out, to correct and add. Occasionally, where the ink is faded, a later hand (16th-c.?) retraced the text. In some cases those interventions are systematic, for instance at ff. 47v-48r the last three letter of Josephés (more than 10 times). This hand also added some marginal notes, made some other interventions in the text, such as corrections, and marked some paragraph divisions absent in the copy.

Provenance

Descriptionf. 158r marginal scribbles, including the names of Thomas Jaksone, Thomas Ballyns, Robertus Constabyll; f. 189r in the top margin a 16th c. hand wrote "Ci comence le livre que Sir Thomas Malori Chevalier reduce in Engloys et fuist emprente per William Caxton" (note facsimiled in Vinaver 1967, III, 1280).
