Scribe description: | Two-compartment 'a' (box-'a'), exclusive use of round 's' in final position, exclusive use of uncial 'd' in all positions. Forked ascenders and descenders ('l', 'p') and spurs ('h'). The bow of 'h' extends below the baseline.The second bow of 'g' is closed, small and written on the baseline. 'i' and 'y' are marked with a diacritical slanting hairline. Vertical hairline at the end of the headstroke of 't'. No indication of word-separation. 3-shaped z. Fusion of d and e. Use of punctus and punctus elevatus. Few abbreviations, including vertical stroke (for combinations with nasal consonants, above 'q' for 'que'), 9 for '-us', 'p' with a crossed descender, superscript vowel ('a'), no use of tironian -et. |
