Between the upper board and the first front endpaper there is a small fragment of brown leather with the typical decoration of the "legatura marciana", probably coming from the binding of another volume. |

| End papers : | Four blank endpapers in paper, two on the front (the first one bears the caption of the Biblioteca Marciana and the shelfmarks, see Bisson 2008, 63) and two on the back. One endpaper in vellum precedes the back enpapers and presents drawings (a lion, a gryphon or a dragon on the recto and a castle or walled city with a bridge and two shields in the verso) and scribbles. On the verso, it is also possible to read the name Gibertus de Piis (Bisson 2008, 69-70 thinks that it could be the name of the copyist and remarks that "uno dei due scudi reca un lambello, insegna tipica della dinastia angioina") and some short verse texts in Italian and in a mixed language, partly transcribed by Bisson 2008, 70. |
