General decoration:One illuminated initial (height: 5 lines) on f. 60vb: a red letter within a blue frame against a gold ground, with white filigree, vine infill, and tendrils extending into the intercolumnar space. Paragraphs are marked by pen-flourished initials (height: 2 lines), alternating blue and red (with decoration in the opposing colour).
Evidence of readership:Folio 60rb: the name of 'Gaheries' has been erased and that of 'hector leur cousin' inserted in the margin.
Foliations description:Stamped 59 and 60 in the lower corner of recto sides.

Scribe description:A small and regular textualis, whose features include: two-compartment 'a' (closed upper bow); ascenders with some serifs; 'd' with a very short, straight shaft; mostly round 's' in final position; 't' with a vertical hairline descending from the cross bar; mostly 'u' (but occasionally 'v') in initial position; tironian 'et' with bar.
