Red and blue chapter initials decorated with blue and red pen flourishes. The initials of each line are marked by an elegant red bar. Paragraph marks occasionally occur to highlight the major developments of the narrative. |

Scribe description: | Elegant Italian 'semigotica', round r written without the left minim (usually with no fusion with the preceding letters), d has a horizontal or almost horizontal shaft, the lower lobe of g is open or closed by a straight hairline. The copyist names himself in the colophon (cf. above, explicit). |
Notes | According to Bisson 2008, 84 the hand that copies Part 2 is 'più tarda rispetto alle scritture precedenti', while Jung 1996, 292 maintains that 'l'écriture du scribe [...] est plus ancienne que celle du scribe du Roman de Troie'. |
