General illustration: | The manuscript is illustrated by a remarkable number of miniatures, extending beyond the bounds of the ruled area into the margins, painted by at least five artists. Some were left incomplete (e.g. ff. 82v, 83r, 89v, 90r, 95v). For further details, see D'Arcais 1984, and Bisson 2008, 75-80. |
General decoration: | The floral initials in the first part of the volume are reminiscent of Neapolitan decoration, but later initials are more akin to northern Italian work (D'Arcais 1984, 588-9). |
