Condition: | Good quality vellum; no holes in the writing space. f. 2 stained. Especially f. 1v and f. 2r are worn (some text loss in f. 2rb). The bifolium has been trimmed at the upper and outer side. Two strips of parchment constitute f. 3. |
Date Information
Date(s): | ?1250 to 1300 |
Notes: | Based on the script. Possibly even before 1230 since the text appears to be copied above top line. The outer side of the first folio of the bifolium has been trimmed, as has the upper margin. Text has been lost in f. 1rb and f. 1va. Given that the strips of parchment with the entire height of the column have 36 lines, c. 2 lines have been lost at the top of the bifolium. The strips appear to have been cut from the same folio. On the recto side the first strip preserves the last words of column a and the majuscules of column b. The second strip preserves the last words of column b. On the verso, the second strip preserves the beginning of the lines of column a, the first strip has the first lines of column b. |
