Scribe description: | Northern textualis rotundus with double-compartment 'a' the upper lobe of which is open. 'i'-longa is used after 'o', 'u' and in initial position. Hairlines at the end of the final strokes of 'h', 'm', 3-like 'z' descend below the baseline. Marked, curved form of straight 's' at the beginning and end of words. Only straight 's' is used in final position. No use of 'v'. Abbreviations include nasal bar which is also used for q(ue), apostrophe, -us abbreviation, superscript vowels, crossed and uncrossed tironian 'et'. |
