Folio notes:Booklet of fourteen parchment leaves 257x187 with 11 excised miniatures cut out of a HA? MSS. The text on the verso of most of these has become hardly legible, except f. 3, the back of which has been cut out to reveal the text. This tells the story of King David’s son.

General illustration:Single column miniatures in borders of goldleaf. The miniatures depict (1) Abraham and Isaak (2) David and Goliath (3) Absolom (4) Salomon (5) Alexandre (6) Castle of Ilion (7) Parliament at Troy (8) Edipus and the sphinx (9) Death of Alixandre (10) Death of Brutus (11) Death of Xerxes A number of these scenes are associated with narratives that are not usually found in Histoire ancienne manuscripts (e.g. David and Goliath, Absolom, Salomon). These episodes from the history of the Hebrews may identify the MS as third redaction (cf. De Visser-Van Terwisga 1995, 232 n. 78).
General decoration:Borders with acanthus, vine, coloured balls, fruits and flowers. The miniatures are followed by tituli in coloured (blue or gold) ink, which are preceded by coloured paragraph signs decorated with pen-flourishings. Puzzle initials, blue and gold with red flourishings.
