Front end papers (6): | i verso: pasted down. In the top-left hand corner is writeen 'Mnscrit J. P. G. Chatre de Cange'' in the top centre is the current classmark (FR. 790). Underneath the current classmark is written 'Cangé no 11 bis'. ii recto: blank ii verso: blank iii-iv, recto and verso - two folios by cangé with notes on the ms (though iv verso is blank). These are smaller than the main folios, and it is unclear whether they are bound into the ms or are loose and have simply been photographed along with it. v recto - a heavily annotated page with many notes and transcriptions (presumably by Cangé). In the centre of the page is written 'ROUMANS D'ALEXANDRE Composé Par Alixandre de Paris né a Bernay (et) Lambers li Cort vers de Chastiaudun Suiui de la Vengeance d'Alexandre Composée par Jean le Niuelois'.
