General decoration:	Initials in gold and colours. Several of the initials (on ff. 1ra, 9ra, 21va, 35va, 65ra, 88vb, and 112rb) incorporate a shield, which Jung describes as 'écartelé, aux 1 et 4, d'argent au sautoir de sable, aux 2 et 3, d'or à 2 fasces de gueules accompagnées de merlettes de même posées 4, 2, 3' (1996, 481).
Evidence of readership:	f. 1r: 'Ex Museo Petri Dubrowsky' in the upper margin, and 'N. 1835' (of the Abbaye de Saint-Germain-des-Prés) in the lower margin. Marginal notes on ff. 17v, 19v, 20v, 21v, and 23v indicate the correct order of these folios. They have since been rebound in the proper order.
