There are leaves missing from quire 6 after its first leaf (f. 41); the third and sixth leaves of quire 7 have been lost (with only f. 47 replaced); the two central bifolia of quire 9 are missing; the central bifolium of quire 11 has been replaced with a blank bifolium; quire 12 is made up of two bifolia, with a blank bifolium inserted between them; and at least one folio is missing from the start of quire 14.

General illustration:28 miniatures, column-width or slightly wider, often 16 lines in height. The illustrations on ff. 38ra, 72va, 78va, 82rb, 83rb are incomplete ink drawings. Some of the missing folios will have been illustrated. For further details, see Jung 1996, 476-9.
General decoration:Large decorative initials with foliate infill (height: mostly 4 lines) follow the miniatures. Folios with miniatures are also decorated with partial foliate borders. Minor initials are pen-flourished and two lines in height. Line fillers.
Evidence of readership:Folio 2r bears the ex-libris of the Blancs-Manteaux.
Foliations description:Modern foliation in the upper right-hand corner of recto sides.
