Description: | Brown morocco binding on pasteboard, simple decorative frame goldtooled on the front and back. An older, parchment binding has been bound with the manuscript. The verso reads 'Magister Johannes le mo(n)nier / clemosinari(us) ordinari(us) (christ)ianissimi / regis francorum et canonic(us) car / notensis est ver(us) possessor hui(us) / voluminis ia martii 1585 / p. b. //'. Noted on the recto of the back of the parchment binding are arrests in French, dated 1524 and referring to the years 1446 to 1479. |
