Quire structure: | Mostly quinions. Two distinct parts are discernible (ff. 1-96 and 97-128). The first was made up of ten quinions, followed by a quaternion, but the opening twelve folios have been lost. An inserted folio between ff. 44 and 45 is also now wanting. The second part was made up of two quinions, a quaternion, and an incomplete quaternion. One leaf is missing between ff. 104 and 105, quire 13 has been rebound in the wrong order, and the first two leaves of quire 14 are also wanting. See Zufferey 1981, pp. xxiv-xxvii, and Cabré & Martí 2010, 105-10. |

General decoration: | Songs begin with decorated initials (height: 4 lines), some incorporating portraits. Stanzas are marked by red or blue paraphs. From f. 39r only the red paraphs were entered. No decoration for the 'Troie' extract. A space (height: 4 lines) was left for the opening initial. |

Foliations description: | Medieval Roman numerals in the upper right corner of recto sides, running XIII to LXX. The modern foliation, also in the upper right corner of the recto, goes from 1 to 128. The latter is used here. |

Scribe description: | A carefully copied semitextualis. Traits include single-compartment 'a', use of 'ç', 'd' with a long ascender, tops of 'f' and tall 's' with serifs, rücken 'g', limb of 'h' descending below baseline, trailing 's' in final position, final 't' with vertical hairline descending from end of crossbar, and 'u' in all positions. Little abbreviation, and tironian 'et' is uncrossed. |
