Scribe description: | Copied in an angular, Anglo-Norman hand of the 13th c. It features two-compartment 'a' (with barely developed upper bow); 'i' ticks to avoid confusion with other minims; 'r' occasionally descending below the baseline; predominantly straight 's', but trailing 's' also occurs at the end of the line; both 'u' and 'v' in initial position; 2-shaped 'z' with a horizontal bar. Abbreviations include crossed tironian 'et' and 'est'. |
