Bindings
Description: | White leather cover kept separately. Five bosses, originally positioned in the corners and center of the front and rear plates kept in the box with the manuscript. Sixteenth-century brown, leather binding (7 chords) on wooden boards. Blind-tooled with stamps arranged in concentric quadrangles. Motifs include dragons, a two-headed eagle, a deer, a fleur-de-lys and a dog. Two clasps, missing. |
