General illustration:45 miniatures (height: 6 to 11 lines), with bar borders and gold grounds. According to Patrick De Winter, the artist may have been a collaborator of the 'Maître du Graal', one of the painters of BnF, fr. 95 (Delcourt 2009, 179).
General decoration:Gold champie initials (height: 2 lines) with grounds in blue and pink, and white filigree.
Evidence of readership:On f. 230v, in a 15th-c. hand: 'Ce liure est a mons(eigneur) jaques / Seign(eu)r de lor'.
Foliations description:Modern foliation in black ink in the centre of the upper margin of recto sides.

Scribe description:A very neat book hand with the following traits: two-compartment 'a' (closed upper bow); 'g' with angular lower lobe; round 's' in final position (though some straight); 'v' in initial position (but initial 'u' also present); dotted 'y'. A date in the early 14th c. cannot be excluded.
