General decoration:Chapters are marked by decorated or historiated initials (height: 8 to 10 lines, mostly 8), sometimes extending to form partial bar borders. Paragraphs begin with champie initials (height: 2 lines). Litterae elongatae.
Evidence of readership:Pen and ink sketch of Tristan in the outer margin of f. 14r. Sporadic marginal notes in a 15th-c. hand, summarising events. There is a nota mark on f. 151rb beside 'AMours fait il engrant doulor / et en grant trauuaill . et en / grant peínne . et en grant mesai- / se me faites mon cors trauueillíer / et user'.
Foliations description:Modern numbering in ink in the upper right corner of recto sides. There is also incomplete modern numbering centred in the lower margin of some recto sides.
