Scribe description: | Small, irregular northern textualis in black ink. Characteristics include: two-compartment 'a' (open upper bow); limb of 'h' turning to the right; ticks to distinguish 'i' from other minims; 'l' formed with an undulating stroke; round 'r' used only rarely (after 'o' and 'p'); tall 's' predominant in final position; 'u' in initial position; 3-shaped 'z'. Abbreviations include nasal bars, superscript vowels, 'est', and crossed tironian 'et'. |
