This manuscript and BnF fr. 112 were both manufactured for Jacques d'Armagnac. BnF fr. 112 and BnF fr. 99 were both copied by Micheau Gonnot, and the Turin MS and BnF fr. 99 were both illustrated by Évrard d'Espingues.

Condition:This manuscript was initially composed of 3 volumes of 252, 253 and 359 ff. (L-I-7, L-1-8, L-1-9). It was badly damaged during the 1904 fire of the Biblioteca Nazionale, and after a restauration we have a total of 390 ff. The manuscript was studied and partly transcribed by Pio Rajna before 1900, and we have 164 pp. of his transcriptions and notes at the Biblioteca Marucelliana of Florence, VI E V 72 (information provided by Lino Leonardi, cf. also Francioni 2010).
