Scribe description:Two-compartment 'a' (upper bow open or closed), but the single-compartment form is also found; other cursive traits include horizontal serifs decorating the top of ascenders and occasional looped ascenders. Straight 's' predominates, but trailing 's' and round 's' are also found in final position. 'u' is sometimes replaced with 'v' at the beginning of a word. The scribe employs the tironian 'et' abbreviation (mostly without the bar), as well as the Insular 'est' abbreviation.
