General illustration:On the verso side of the first leaf is a full-page miniature depicting the construction of a city (Troy). The style of the miniatures is the same as the other in the manuscript, which suggests it is not a later addition. Near identical copy of this image (f. 30r) to portray the destruction of the city (towers falling). Illustration consists of crude pen-drawings filled with blacks, dark greens, reds, blues, pinks. Decoration with silverleaf (e.g. in shields) Two full-page drawings on ff. 1v and 30r. Bas-de page images on ff. 6v-7r (invasion of Troy), 11v: ships and 13r: battle. Mid-page images, mostly battle scenes on ff. 16r, 17r, 21v, 24v (death of Achilles), 27r, 39r (Dido celebrates with Eneas), 42r (Dido’s death, Eneas sails away), 47r (embassy to king Latin), 51r (siege of a cit), 54v, 60v.
