General decoration: | On f. 1ra, a large (height: c.10 lines), damaged painted initial on a gold ground with foliate in-fill. Major textual divisions, including start of the Prose Tristan fragment, marked by puzzle initials (height: 6 lines) in red and blue. Chapters marked by two-line plain initials, (predominantly) alternating red and blue (guide letters generally visible). |
Evidence of readership: | On f. 10ra, a maniculum beside 'Qar de si aut arbre ne proies uos pas le / fruit coil lir.' Most of f. 42vb has been marked 'vacat'. |
