Date(s): | c. 1250 to 1300 |
Notes: | Conservative dating. The date suggested by the Lancelot-Graal project is 1271, as in the colophon of the 'Image du Monde' copied by Jacquemin d'Acre (ff. 1 to 58, in Part 1 of the MS). Stones 1988, 80 n. 28 lists the copy of the 'Mort artu' as 'particularly early', 'before 1250' (p. 91) and 'second quarter of the 13th c.' (p. 87). |
