Foliations description:Contemporary foliation in roman numerals in the upper right corner of the recto. Although the 'Epistre d'Othea' in the same manuscript has been written by the same scribe and has similar features (initials and tituli have not been executed), the contemporary foliation (starting at 'I' for the text of Christine de Pisan after f. VII(XX)III of the 'Histoire ancienne' which has its own flyleaf) may suggest that this is a different MSPart produced by the same professional. The flyleaf of the 'Histoire ancienne' has been foliated '144' by a modern hand, in arabic numerals. This foliation continues through to end of the manuscript. 'Epistre d'Othea' f. 1 = f. 145.
