Condition:Medium quality vellum with few holes (f. 5) and stitches (f. 3, f. 32, f. 60). The folios are not all the same size. In many cases the edges of the skin coincide with those of the leaf (f. 36, f. 37, f. 38, f. 39, f. 40, f. 59, f. 62, f. 69, f. 70, f. 78, f. 79, f. 84). In good condition. Folio 70 is mutilated in the lower outer corner.

General decoration:Each text starts with a puzzle initial (height: 4 to 6 lines) extending into blue and red j-borders. The text is preceded by a titulus in red ink. Directions for these titles in the margin (e.g. f. 82). Further subdivisions are indicated by means of pen-decorated initials (height: 2 lines) alternating between blue and red with flourishings in the contrasting colour.
Evidence of readership:f. 1r: ancient shelfmarks in the upper margin. '1102' and '7633'. f. 10v: lower margin, 15th c. 'xv' f. 19v: lower margin, 15th c. 'lxxii' f. 30v: lower margin, 15th c.
