Evidence of readership:f. 271r: crude drawin of man with sword f. 277v: bottom margin, faded annotation, 17th c? f. 291r: lower margin, beginning of a crude drawing f. 296v: annotation in lower margin, rendered illegible. f. 299r: annotation: 15th c. 'fran(que)lance' f. 299v: faded annotation beginning 'CCXXXVIII' 'Explicit lestoire du roy Alexande Das(...)' written 7 times by at least four different hands. The third hand adds 'Et (con)quist les reaumes se dit lautoritez' (last line of the 'Vengeance').

Scribe description:Northern textualis rotundus with two-compartment 'a' with closed upper lobe, also occurence of box 'a'. 2-like 'r' after 'o'. Round 's' in final position. Use of 'v' in initial position. Abbreviations include nasal bar used also for q(ue), s-like apostrophe, superscript vowels, 'p' with crossed descender, com-abbreviation , us-abbreviation, crossed tironian note. Abbreviation mark (resembles double three) for 'sont'?
