Scribe description:Northern littera textualis rotundus with two-compartment 'a', the upper compartment of which is not closed. Exclusive use of uncial 'd'. 8-shaped 'g', the lower lobe of which has approximately the same size as the upper lobe and descends slightly below the baseline. 'h' descends below the baseline curving to the left. 'I' longa used after 'u'. Straight 's' is used in all positions. 'I' is marked with a slanting dash where confusion is possible. Exclusive use of 'u', also for 'v'. Abbreviations include horizontal bar for nasal consonants and q(ue), inverted 'c' for 'r'-abbreviations, superscript vowels ('i', 'a'), the -'us' and 'com' abbreviations, crossed tironian 'et' and 'est' abbreviation. Fusion of round 'r' and preceding 'o'. Punctuation is only used to mark numerals.
NotesThe absence of half-uncial 'd', exclusive use of straight 's' and two-compartment 'a' the upper compartment of which is open may indicate a date circa 1250. The presence of the 'est' abbreviation is remarkable.
